Country manager/CEO Germany
DoDo is a data-driven logistics service for e-commerce, retail and fast food. We use advanced technology to make it easier for companies to deliver goods and reduce the negative impact on the urban environment.
We are a fast-growing logistics company with branches in 6 countries (Czech republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Poland, Germany and Austria). We are looking for a great Country Manager for Germany to join our international sales team. We are looking for someone, who knows how to fight for the contract but also perceives the needs of our customers and clients.
What you will do:
- Lead and develop the Germany subsidiary with full Profit & Loss responsibility
- Develop and implement market and business strategy and plans
- Independently lead and develop the Germany team with international reporting line
- Acquire new clients (create business relationships with existing & potential clients)
- Develop relationships with existing clients to support new solutions and seek new business opportunities
- Develop synergies between local business as well as between local and international business
- Manage acquired accounts and be the interface to the specialty department
- Be responsible for maintaining high service quality and operational excellence by developing smart KPIs and defining processes in line with the headquarter's strategy
- Conduct market and competition analysis in order gain market share
- Preparing price offers, contracts and other necessary documents
- Effectively communicate with other department across the company
- Reporting
- Degree in economics / logistics
- Minimum 10 years experience in sales and business development in contract logistics, retail, e-commerce
- Proven leadership experience
- Ideally existing network and experience in logistics, IT or e-commerce sector
- Proactive, hands-on and structured way of working with interest in building up teams and structures
- Service oriented, committed and dynamic
- Very good communication, negotiation and consultation skills
- Very good MS-Office skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Fluent in German and English
